The exterior keyed deadbolt can be unlocked or locked from the outside using a key. The key-way is Kwikset. The deadbolt fits doors with a thickness ranging from 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch (35mm to 45mm).

On the interior, a rotation button allows you to unlock or lock the deadbolt with a turn. The horizontal position indicates a locked state, while the vertical position signifies an unlocked state.

The adjustable latch features options of 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm).

Each box contains the following components: one exterior deadbolt, one interior deadbolt, one adjustable latch, one plastic cover, one strike plate, four short ST420mm screws, two long M435mm screws, one Allen wrench, three keys, and one installation instruction manual.

Install the plastic box and strike plate, which can be done either in the first or last step.
